Speed is something that we are always aware of and continually working on improving. There are many different issues that can cause speed issues such as:
1. The time of day
2. Server loads
3. Network latency
4. Browser settings
5. Caching
6. Are too many products trying to load at the same time
We are always working on the core of our system to try and diagnose and troubleshoot any potential speed issues such as:
- Adding new hardware and space
- Analyzing slowness and finding optimizations
- Monthly maintenance to address and clean up old issues
- Being alerted when we have issues
- 24/7 monitoring
Because there are so many different aspects when it comes to speed, we need to try and narrow down specifically what you are experiencing, so that we can try and replicate the issue and see if we can help find a resolution. Examples to help pinpoint the issue will greatly help address problems that you are experiencing.
1. Are you experiencing slowness on the entire site? On just the catalog? When you are logged in as an admin?
2. What browsers are you experiencing these issues with?
3. Are you experiencing these issues on multiple computers? Or is the slowness just happening on one computer?
4. Are you experiencing these issues in multiple locations? Have you tried from your office and your home networks?
5. Are you experiencing these issues at all times of the day or just during specific times?
6. What steps do I need to take to replicate the speed issues that you are seeing?
7. Are you able to record a video of what you are experiencing? (If not, your Account Manager can help you create a video during a screenshare).
After going through these questions, if you still have speed issues, please reach out to your Account Manager so that we can help assist you in finding a resolution.
