At times you will want to move certain items from a category or have additional categories/subcategories added to specific items, and this is how you can accomplish that. Like anything, these do have boundaries, we aren't usually able to create a new taxonomy or any custom finishes or styles but we do have popular ones that are common across the lighting industry shared by multiple vendors.
Single Item Update:
In order to change a singular item’s category, you will be required to be logged in > go to the item > click expert edit or pencil icon > go to taxonomy tab > “x” will remove the label but the “+” will allow you to add a new one, it will be main category and then subcategories listed under that main one.

Mass Update the Items:
You’ll want to pull the product data for the vendor you would like to update or a list of individual items. This will be done by logging in as Admin > Exports > Create Export > select the Existing Category and Subcategory Details > Enter the vendor and run the export. This will provide a file for you to use to view the existing categories. Once the file has been edited, go to Imports > drag and drop your file to the appropriate box. Any of the categories and subcategories used must already exist in XOLogic for the file to run without errors.
